Our chickens come from the best chicken farms in Australia and we even get the pick of the very best ones!
At Nando’s we select the most succulent of chickens, which are butterfly-cut and trimmed of excess fat before being marinated for 24 hours so that the flavours infuse right through. This is what makes Nando’s so tender and flavoursome.
All our chicken is made fresh to order so when you place your order at the counter, we cook the chicken on the flame-grill, baste it first with our delicious Lemon and Herb marinade, then later apply more marinade that you will have selected from a choice of Lemon and Herb, BBQ, Mild, Hot or Extra Hot PERi-PERi. Once the chicken has browned to golden perfection it is ready to plate up and to be taken over to your table.
Nando’s all-natural ingredients
All our meals and marinades are made with natural, non-processed, high quality ingredients. The distinctive, unique flavour our Nando’s PERi-PERi marinade comes from a traditional Portuguese recipe based on lemons, fresh herbs, garlic and PERi-PERi - also known as the African bird’s eye chilli - and other spices.
And for those who don’t like chilli we have a lemon and herb marinade which is made from lemons, limes, fresh herbs and spices. We also offer a BBQ flavour.
Nando’s basting sauces have no artificial additives, or added colours, preservatives or MSG. The same is true of our chickens.
