From Uncertainty to Leadership: Campbell’s Nando’s Journey
Like many school leavers, Campbell Wolfe wasn’t sure what came next. A few casual shifts in hospitality sparked an interest he didn’t expect—one that would lead him to Nando’s. What drew him in wasn’t just the food, but the people-first culture, focus on growth, and the opportunity to make a real impact.
In just six years, Campbell rose from Assistant Patrao to Patrao, taking on the challenge of turning one of the lowest-performing restaurants into one of the best. Along the way, he earned the Life and Soul Award, mentoring team members and helping them reach their potential.
Today, as Nando’s first Restaurant Opening Coach (ROC), Campbell plays a unique and critical role. He ensures new restaurants launch with the right culture, team structure, and energy from day one. From recruiting and training the team, to collaborating with design, construction, operations, and marketing teams, he helps every new restaurant embody the Nando’s spirit and values. His work sets the foundation for long-term success and a thriving workplace culture.
For Campbell, leadership is about connection, listening, and empowering others. Whether someone is just starting or building a long-term career, he believes in making a meaningful impact on their journey.
Campbell’s story shows that with passion, purpose, and the right people around you, the path to leadership can start anywhere—and grow faster than you might imagine.
