Rising Through the Ranks: Dylan’s Nando’s Journey

Dylan was just 16 when he joined Nando’s to earn some pocket money. Fast forward a few years, and he’s gone from Nandoca to Restaurant Manager—recently stepping up as a Partner in Nando’s Partnership program.

For Dylan, leadership is all about people. Whether it’s saying thank you after a shift, surprising his team with coffees, or blasting music in the kitchen, he makes sure his Nandocas feel valued. He’s also passionate about giving back—leading fundraising events for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation that grew from two restaurants to several across the region.

Beyond the restaurant, Dylan has helped shape Nando’s future by running group recruitment days, making interviews fun, interactive, and true to Nando’s culture. And his go-to order? ¼ chicken, hot, with peri-peri chips and garlic bread.

What started as “just a job” has become a career full of growth, leadership, and purpose. Dylan’s story proves that at Nando’s, the opportunities are endless—and always full of spice.
