Competition Period

The Competition commences at 11:00am AEST on Friday 24th May 2024. Entrants must submit their completed entry in accordance with the Entry Method by 11:59pm AEST on Thursday 30th May 2024

Judging Date & Time

The winners will be judged on Friday 31st May by 10:00am AEST 

Entry Restrictions

Entrants to the Competition must be Australian residents who have a registered, current and verified Nando’s PERi-Perks membership account (Account) and are 18 years of age and over (Entrant). Entrants less than 18 years of age must obtain the consent of their parent or legal guardian before entering the Competition 

Relevant State

All Australian States and Territories (excluding Tasmania, Northern Territory and Australian Capital Territory) 

Entry Method

To enter the Competition, during the Competition Period, Entrants must: 

  • purchase any main menu item (excluding Snacks, Sides, Drinks, Desserts or Sauces) from a Nando’s restaurant in Australia (excluding Tasmania, Northern Territory and Australian Capital Territory) using the Nando’s app or Website when logged into their Account or in a Nando’s restaurant in Australia by scanning their Account barcode at the counter (not valid for catering or with third party delivery orders like Uber Eats, Door Dash or MenuLog) (Eligible Purchase); 
  • follow the weblink provided to the Entrant via the Competition eDM sent by the Promoter and complete the Competition’s online registration form by providing and/or confirming their full name, membership number and email address linked to their Account; and 
  • on the weblink form, tell the Promoter in 25 words or less “Tell us in 25 words or less who your ‘ride or die’ Nando’s buddy is and why?”. 

Judging Criteria

Each valid entry submitted in accordance with the Entry Method will be individually judged by representatives of the Promoter based on the creativity, relevance, originality, literary merit, and suitability of the entry 

Maximum Entries Per Person

Multiple entries to the Competition are permitted, subject to the following: 

  • only 1 entry permitted per Eligible Purchase; and 
  • each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with the Entry Method. 

Prize

5 x winners will win 1 x double pass cinema ticket to see “Bad Boys: Ride or Die”. Please see the Prize Terms & Conditions for further details 

Total Prize Pool Value

AUD$800 (inclusive of GST) (being AUD$160 per Prize) 

Notification of Winners

The winners will be notified by email on Friday 31st May by 4:00pm AEST 

Prize Claim Date & Time

The winners must claim their Prize by 5:00pm AEST on Monday 3rd June. If a winner fails to claim their Prize by the deadline, they will no longer be eligible to receive the Prize and the Promoter will conduct a second round of judging in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. The Prize will then be awarded to the Entrant who satisfies the Terms and Conditions and whose Entry is judged as the runner up which best meets the Judging Criteria. To claim the Prize, a winner must follow the instructions provided in the Promoter’s email in the Notification of Winners section. Once a winner has been notified via email that they’ve won a Prize, the Promoter will send the Prize to the email address supplied by the winner in the weblink form when submitting their entry 

Prize Terms & Conditions

  1. The Prize is not transferable, deferrable, exchangeable or redeemable for any other product and cannot be taken as cash or other currency. 
  1. If the Prize is not fulfilled for any reason, then the Prize is forfeited. 
  1. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time before awarding the Prize, to vary, postpone or cancel the Prize, including, without limitation, where in the Promoter’s opinion (as determined by the Promoter in its sole discretion): 
  1. a winner has not complied with these Terms and Conditions; 
  1. a winner does not satisfy the Competition entry requirements; and/or 
  1. the Promoter cannot conduct this Competition or offer the Prize for any other reason outside the Promoter’s reasonable control. 
  1. It is a condition of accepting the Prize that the winners comply with all the conditions of use of the Prize. 
  1. The Prize cannot be transferred to another person. 
  1. The terms and conditions which apply to the Prize at the time it is issued to a winner will prevail over these Terms and Conditions to the extent of any inconsistency. 
  1. Where the Prize is provided to the Promoter by a third party, or fulfilled by a third party, the Prize is subject to the terms and conditions of that third-party and the provision of the Prize, or fulfilment of the Prize, is the sole responsibility of the third party and not the Promoter. The terms and conditions which apply to the Prize at the time it is issued to a winner will prevail over these Terms and Conditions to the extent of any inconsistency. The Promoter accepts no responsibility or liability for any delay or failure by the third party to deliver the Prize, any delay or failure relating to the Prize itself or failure by the third party to meet any of its obligations in these terms and conditions or otherwise. 
  1. Winners will receive the Prize via delivery to their nominated email address as listed by the winners in the weblink form. 
  1. The Promoter takes no responsibility for lost items or any delivery failure occurring due to incorrect contact details provided a winner. 
  1. The Promoter will not be responsible for any costs associated with a winner accepting and participating in the Prize that are not expressly set out as the Promoter’s responsibility in these Terms and Conditions and in the Prize section. 
  1. The Promoter will not be responsible for any failure or inability of a winner to redeem the Prize due to Government restrictions or regulations. 
  1. Access to the Prize is subject to capacity and government restrictions and limitations. 

Double Pass Pre-screening Cinema Ticket to ‘Bad Boys: Ride or Die’. Win a double pass (two tickets) to the ‘Bad Boys: Ride or Die’ special preview screening in your state. The winners will be sent an online double pass via email to the email address supplied by the winners in the webform during entry submission. Offer is valid for selected pre-screening events for the following cities only:

The winner will be provided popcorn and a choice of beverage including a soft-drink, beer, or wine during the pre-screening film. The ticket is not for re-sale. This ticket must be taken as offered and is not exchangeable, transferable, or redeemable for cash. The winner is responsible for any travel and other food expenses involved with the event. Valid only for the ‘Bad Boys: Ride or Die’ movie. Seating is subject to availability.

If selected winner is unable to attend, they must forfeit their prizing and won't be reimbursed for the value of the prizing.

The value of the prize is accurate as at the time of preparation of these Terms & Conditions of Entry and is based on the recommended retail price. We accept no responsibility for any variation in the value of a prize after that date. If a winner does not take an element of a prize by the time stipulated, then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and neither cash nor any other form of compensation will be supplied in lieu of that element of the prize. We accept no other liability or responsibility for any loss incurred by a winner or any other party if any prize (or any part of a prize) is unavailable for any reason.

The Promoter is not affiliated with the website and/or applications of Facebook and Entrants must comply with all applicable terms of use of Facebook. 

Instagram

The Promoter is not affiliated with the website and/or applications of Instagram and Entrants must comply with all applicable terms of use of Instagram. 

Privacy Policy and Consent

The Promoter needs to collect the personal information of Entrants, which must be submitted with an Entrants entry, so that the Promoter can enter the Entrants into the Competition. The Promoter may use personal information about Entrants for related purposes, including sending Entrants information (including electronically) about the Promoter and further competitions. The Promoter’s Privacy Statement can be found at http://www.nandos.com.au/privacy. Personal information of Entrants will be collected to enable the Promoter to administer and promote this Competition and its winners. 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. These Terms and Conditions, and all other information provided by the Promoter to the Entrant prior to entering the Competition, including the Schedule and any instructions on how to enter the Competition, form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this Competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Any entry not complying with these Terms and Conditions is invalid. The Schedule defines certain terminology used within these Terms and Conditions and to the extent of any inconsistency between the Schedule and these Terms and Conditions, the Schedule will prevail. 
  1. Entry is only open to residents of the Relevant State who comply with the Entry Restrictions and have a valid email address and mobile number. Employees of the Promoter (and their immediate family members), participating retailers and agencies associated with this Competition are ineligible to enter the Competition. Immediate family members include any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or stepchild (whether natural or by adoption), parent, stepparent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, stepbrother, stepsister or first cousin. 
  1. The Competition will be conducted during the Competition Period. To enter the Competition, Entrants must follow the Entry Method and comply with all other applicable requirements during the Competition Period. Entries must be received by the Promoter during the Competition Period. Entrants may submit up to the Maximum Entries Per Person. Automated and computer-generated entries will not be accepted. 
  1. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and Entrants (including an Entrant’s identity, place of residence and membership status of their Account) and to disqualify any Entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid. 
  1. Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the Promoter’s database. The Promoter is not responsible for receipt of incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information caused by an Entrant or occurring during transmission. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone or computer device, telephone or computer networks or any telecommunication lines, servers, suppliers or providers, traffic congestion on any phone or computer network, or any combination thereof. The Promoter is not responsible for any injury or damage to an Entrant’s telephone device, handset or computer related device, or any other person’s telephone device, handset or computer related device, resulting directly or indirectly from participation in this Competition and/or sending or receiving any communication or materials related to or in this Competition. The Promoter has no obligation to acknowledge or return the entry to the Entrant. 
  1. The Entrant acknowledges and agrees that the entry must not contain any obscene, defamatory, libelous, threatening, harassing, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive material or content, and will not encourage any conduct that would be considered a criminal offence, would give rise to any civil liability, or violate any applicable law. 
  1. The Entrant confirms and warrants that they have full power and authority to enter the Competition and accept these Terms and Conditions, and hereby agrees to indemnify the Promoter from and against any and all costs and damages incurred directly or indirectly as a result of any breach of the representations and warranties made by the Entrant herein or in their entry for the Competition. 
  1. All entries into this Competition are the property of the Entrant. Each Entrant, by entering this Competition, grants the Promoter an irrevocable, perpetual, sub-licensable and worldwide gratis license to reproduce, edit, publish, communicate and otherwise use their entry to the Competition in any manner whatsoever, including, without limitation, in further promotion of the Competition and any other commercial purposes, which may extend to, or involve use by or with, one or more third parties. If requested by the Promoter, the Entrant shall complete and sign a formal license of copyright to give effect to the foregoing. 
  1. The Promoter reserves the right to reject any entry submitted to the Competition by an Entrant. 
  1. To the extent necessary, the Entrant hereby waives all moral rights (as defined by the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth)), including the right of attribution. 
  1. The Entrant warrants that the entry does not incorporate any materials which are subject to any third-party proprietary rights and does not otherwise infringe on any third party’s rights. The Entrant further warrants that they have the required consents and approvals from any individuals appearing in the entry. 
  1. On the Judging Date and Time, the entries will be judged by suitably qualified representatives of the Promoter based on the Judging Criteria. The Prize will be awarded to the Entrants that best meet the Judging Criteria (winners). The Competition is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the outcome and winning entries. 
  1. The winner will be determined by the Promoter either at its central support office (40 Mollison Street, Abbotsford, Victoria 3067) or remotely as deemed appropriate by the Promoter in the circumstances. 
  1. The determination of the winners is final and binding upon all Entrants and no correspondence will be entered into. Entrants who are not the winners will not receive any notification at all. The Promoter will contact the winners in accordance with the Notification of Winners section of the Schedule to arrange for delivery of the Prize. 
  1. The Prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the Prize as stated. The Prize is not transferable to another person (unless agreed to by the Promoter) or exchangeable for other goods and services, is not replaceable if lost by the winner and cannot be redeemed for cash or other currency. 
  1. The Promoter reserves the right to request that a winner provides proof of identity, proof of membership status for their Account, proof of residency and/or proof of entry validity in order to claim the Prize. Proof of identity, membership status, residency and/or entry validity considered suitable for verification is at the Promoter’s discretion. If a winner cannot provide suitable proof, they will forfeit the Prize in whole and no substitute will be offered. 
  1. The Promoter reserves the right to rejudge the Competition in the event of a winner being unable to satisfy these Terms and Conditions or forfeiting or not claiming the Prize by the Prize Claim Date & Time. If a winner does not claim the Prize by the Prize Claim Date & Time, they will forfeit the Prize. If the Prize remains unclaimed or forfeited through ineligibility or otherwise, the Promoter will determine an alternative winner by conducting further judging, as required, at the same time and place as the original judging on the business day immediately after the Prize Claim Date following the Judging Criteria. The alternative winner as determined by the Promoter shall be notified within one (1) day of the further judging being conducted. 
  1. If the Prize is unavailable for any reason, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the Prize with a gift to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority. 
  1. It is a condition of accepting the Prize that winners sign a legal release as determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion, prior to receiving the Prize. 
  1. If the Prize is provided to the Promoter by a third-party, the Prize is subject to the terms and conditions of the third-party prize supplier and the provision of the Prize is the sole responsibility of the third-party and not the Promoter. The terms and conditions which apply to the Prize at the time it is issued to a winner will prevail over these Terms and Conditions, to the extent of any inconsistency. The Promoter accepts no responsibility or liability for any delay or failure by the third-party to deliver the Prize, any delay or failure relating to the Prize itself or failure by the third-party to meet any of its obligations in these Terms and Conditions or otherwise. 
  1. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications and the winners must seek their own independent financial advice regarding the tax implications relating to the Prize or acceptance of the Prize. 
  1. By entering the Competition, each Entrant agrees that the Promoter may disclose their personal information to any applicable State and Territory lottery department and, if they are a winner of the Competition, may have their name published as required under any relevant lottery legislation, including publishing, or causing to be published, their name and suburb in any media, including on the Website. 
  1. If required by the Promoter, the winners agree to participate in any promotional activities associated with the Competition and the Prize such as public appearances and photo opportunities that might be required by the Promoter. The winners agree to the Promoter using their likeness and image for any purpose related to the Competition and the Prize. The winners grant the Promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive license to use such footage and photographs in all media worldwide indefinitely, and the winners will not be entitled to any fee for such use. 
  1. If this Competition is interfered with in any way, or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated, due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law, (a) to disqualify any Entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Competition, as appropriate. 
  1. Any cost associated with accessing the Competition websites, including the Website, and any mobile applications is the Entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used. The use of any automated software, or any other mechanical or electronic means, that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that Entrant invalid. 
  1. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Competition, including but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any claim, entry or offer that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in Prize value to that stated in the Schedule of these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by an Entrant; or (f) use of a Prize. 
  1. The Promoter and its associated agencies shall not be liable in any way if the performance of obligations hereunder is delayed or becomes impossible by reason of any Act of God, war, fire, earthquake, strike, sickness, accident, civil commotion or any other cause. 
  1. Any guarantee or warranty given is in addition to any relevant statutory guarantees and warranties and nothing in these Terms and Conditions restricts, excludes or modifies, or purports to restrict, exclude or modify, any statutory consumer rights under any applicable law, including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth). 
  1. The Promotor and the Entrants acknowledge that the Competition is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram or Facebook. 
  1. The Entrants acknowledge that the Promoter needs to collect the personal information requested in the Registration Form to be submitted with an entry, so that the Promoter can enter an Entrant into the Competition. 
  1. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.

The winner will be judged on Tuesday the 7th of May 2024 by 3:00pm AEST

Entry Restrictions

Entrants to the Competition must be Australian residents 18 years of age and over and who are registered and verified Nando’s PERi-Perks members (Members).

Entrants must be able to attend the Nando’s Western Australia Master Griller event on Tuesday 14th of May 2024 as specified in the Prize section.

If requested by the Promoter, the winner and their nominated companion must sign a release and indemnity to be eligible to receive the Prize.

Entry Method

To enter the Competition, during the Competition Period, Member entrants must:

dine with Nando’s, either in a participating Nando’s restaurant in Western Australia, Australia or via the Nando’s app or Website from a participating Nando’s restaurant in Western Australia, Australia (not valid with third party delivery aggregator orders like Uber Eats, Door Dash and MenuLog or Nando’s catering) using their registered and verified PERi-Perks membership account as a Member (by scanning their membership barcode in the restaurant or placing an order online when logged into their membership account as a Member to order);

leave their full name and valid and unique mobile number and Member email address in the Competition registration form; and

tell the Promoter in 25 words or less “what makes your palate so special.”.

1 x return private vehicle transfer for the winner and their chosen companion between the winner’s chosen destination and the Event (to a maximum distance of 50km or at the Promoter’s sole discretion);

The Prize Pack (and each part of the Prize Pack) is not transferable, deferrable, exchangeable, or redeemable for any other product and cannot be taken as cash or other currency.

If the Prize Pack (or any part of the Prize Pack) is not fulfilled for any reason, then the Prize Pack (and any part of the Prize Pack) is forfeited.

The terms and conditions which apply to the Prize Pack (or part of the Prize Pack) at the time it is issued to the winner will prevail over these Terms and Conditions to the extent of any inconsistency. The Promoter accepts no responsibility or liability for any delay or failure by the third party to deliver the Prize Pack (or any part of the Prize Pack), any delay or failure relating to the Prize Pack (or any part of the Prize Pack) itself or failure by the third party to meet any of its obligations in these terms and conditions or otherwise.

The winner will receive the items in the Prize Pack as follows:

the return vehicle transfer between the Event and the winner’s designated pick-up destination (within a 50km radius of the Event, or at the Promoter’s sole discretion, for a maximum of 2 people) will be booked by the Promoter with a transport company chosen solely by the Promotor on behalf of the winner with a confirmation email and booking reference number provided to the winner’s nominated email address at least 72 hours prior to the Event;

the pick-up and drop-off destination for the return vehicle transfer must be the same location and the time of booking must be on the same day as the Event between 7:00am AEST and 11:59pm AEST on Tuesday the 14th of May 2024; and

the details of the Event and a full itinerary, provided by the Promoter to the winner’s nominated email address, at least 72 hours prior to the Event.

The Promoter takes no responsibility for lost items, any delivery failure occurring after distributing the items to the winners’ email address, or any delivery failure occurring due to incorrect email address details provided by the winner.

The Promoter will not be responsible for any costs associated with the winner and their chosen companion accepting and participating in items within the Prize Pack (or any part of the Prize Pack) that are not expressly set out as the Promoter’s responsibility in these Terms and Conditions and in the Prize section.

  1. The winner and their chosen companion agree that they will not sell or otherwise provide their story and/or photographs of the Event, the Prize Pack (or any part of the Prize Pack) to any media or other organisation without the Promoter’s prior written consent.
  2. The Promoter will not be responsible for any failure or inability of the winner to redeem the Prize Pack (or any part of the Prize Pack) due to Government restrictions or regulations and will not be required to rebook the Event if it is cancelled due to such restrictions.
  3. No responsibility will be taken by the Promoter or any of its affiliates or sub-licensees for any cancellation, re-scheduling or change in the dates and/or times of the Event or the return vehicle transfer that may prevent the winner or their nominated companion from participating in items in the Prize Pack (or any part of the Prize Pack). The travel details are subject to change by the Promoter in its sole discretion.
  4. The winner and their chosen companion must sign any legal documentation required by the Promoter in its absolute discretion, in the form required by the Promoter in its absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form.
  5. The winner and their chosen companion will be fully responsible for all costs associated with accepting and participating in the items in the Prize Pack (and any part of the Prize Pack), including but not limited to any other transport, meals and accommodation not expressly included in these Terms and Conditions and the Prize section, spending money, taxes, levies, insurance, medical expenses and all other ancillary costs associated with accepting and participating in any items in the Prize Pack (or any part of the Prize Pack).
  6. The winner and their chosen companion will require valid identification to accept and participate in the items in the Prize Pack (and any part of the Prize Pack). All such documents and costs are the sole responsibility of the winner and their chosen companion. If the winner and/or their chosen companion fail to produce any documentation reasonably required for the Promoter to fulfill the items in the Prize Pack (or any part of the Prize Pack), the winner may no longer be eligible to receive the items in the Prize (or any part of the Prize Pack).
  7. The winner is responsible for ensuring that their chosen companion is aware of, has read and understood, and agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. The winner and their chosen companion must, on request, execute all documentation necessary to give effect to this clause.

The entrant confirms and warrants that they have full power and authority to enter the Competition and accept these Terms and Conditions, and hereby agrees to indemnify the Promoter from and against any and all costs and damages incurred directly or indirectly as a result of any breach of the representations and warranties made by the entrant herein or in their entry for the Competition.
  1. All entries into this Competition are the property of the entrant. Each entrant, by entering this Competition, grants the Promoter an irrevocable, perpetual, sub-licensable and worldwide gratis licence to reproduce, edit, publish, communicate and otherwise use their entry to the Competition in any manner whatsoever, including, without limitation, in further promotion of the Competition and any other commercial purposes, which may extend to, or involve use by or with, one or more third parties. If requested by the Promoter, the entrant shall complete and sign a formal licence of copyright to give effect to the foregoing.
  1. The Promoter reserves the right to reject any entry submitted to the Competition.

The entrant further warrants that they have the required consents and approvals from any individuals appearing in the entry.
  1. At the conclusion of the Competition Period, on the Judging Date and Time, the entries will be judged by suitability qualified representatives of the Promoter based on the Judging Criteria. The Prize will be awarded to the entrant that best meets the Judging Criteria. Chance plays no part in determining the outcome.

The winner shall be determined by the Promoter either at its central support office (40 Mollison Street, Abbotsford, Victoria 3067) or remotely as deemed appropriate by the Promoter in the circumstances and shall be notified in accordance with the Notification of Winner section of the Schedule.
  1. The judges’ decision is final and binding upon all entrants and no correspondence will be entered into. Entrants who are not the winner will not receive any notification at all. The Promoter will contact the winner in accordance with the Notification of Winner section of the Schedule to arrange for delivery of the Prize.
  1. The Prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if the winner is unable to use the Prize (or part of the Prize) as stated. The Prize (and all parts of the Prize) are not transferable to another person (unless agreed to by the Promoter) or exchangeable for other goods and services and cannot be redeemed for cash.
  1. The Promoter reserves the right to request that the winner provide proof of identity, proof of membership status, proof of age, proof of residency and/or proof of entry validity in order to claim the Prize. Proof of identity, membership status, age, residency and/or entry validity considered suitable for verification is at the Promoter’s discretion. If the winner cannot provide suitable proof, they will forfeit the Prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.
  1. The Promoter reserves the right to rejudge the Competition in the event of the winner being unable to satisfy these Terms and Conditions or forfeiting or not claiming the Prize by the Prize Claim Date & Time. If the winner does not claim the Prize by the Prize Claim Date & Time they will forfeit the Prize (and all parts of the Prize). The Promoter will conduct further judging, as required, at the same time and place as the original draw on the day after the Prize Claim Date. The alternative winner shall be notified in accordance with the Notification of Winner section of the Schedule.
  1. If the Prize (or any part of the Prize) is unavailable for any reason, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the Prize (or any part of the Prize) with a gift to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.

If the Prize (or any part of the Prize) is provided to the Promoter by a third-party, the Prize (or part of the Prize as appropriate) is subject to the terms and conditions of the third-party prize supplier and the provision of the Prize (or part of the Prize as appropriate) is the sole responsibility of the third-party and not the Promoter. By entering the Competition, each entrant agrees that the Promoter may disclose their personal information to any applicable State and Territory lottery department and if they are the winner of the Competition may have their name published as required under any relevant lottery legislation, including publishing, or causing to be published, the winner’s names and suburb in any media, including on the Website.

Entry Restrictions

Entrants must be able to attend the Nando’s New South Wales Master Griller event on Tuesday 14th of May 2024 as specified in the Prize section.

If requested by the Promoter, the winner and their nominated companion must sign a release and indemnity to be eligible to receive the Prize.

To enter the Competition, during the Competition Period, Member entrants must:

dine with Nando’s, either in a participating Nando’s restaurant in New South Wales, Australia or via the Nando’s app or Website from a participating Nando’s restaurant in New South Wales, Australia (not valid with third party delivery aggregator orders like Uber Eats, Door Dash and MenuLog or Nando’s catering) using their registered and verified PERi-Perks membership account as a Member (by scanning their membership barcode in the restaurant or placing an order online when logged into their membership account as a Member to order);

leave their full name and valid and unique mobile number and Member email address in the Competition registration form; and

tell the Promoter in 25 words or less “what makes your palate so special.”.

Entry Restrictions

Entrants to the Competition must be Australian residents 18 years of age and over and who are registered and verified Nando’s PERi-Perks members (Members).

Entrants must be able to attend the Nando’s Queensland Master Griller event on Tuesday 14th of May 2024 as specified in the Prize section.

If requested by the Promoter, the winner and their nominated companion must sign a release and indemnity to be eligible to receive the Prize.

To enter the Competition, during the Competition Period, Member entrants must:

dine with Nando’s, either in a participating Nando’s restaurant in Queensland, Australia or via the Nando’s app or Website from a participating Nando’s restaurant in Queensland, Australia (not valid with third party delivery aggregator orders like Uber Eats, Door Dash and MenuLog or Nando’s catering) using their registered and verified PERi-Perks membership account as a Member (by scanning their membership barcode in the restaurant or placing an order online when logged into their membership account as a Member to order);

leave their full name and valid and unique mobile number and Member email address in the Competition registration form; and

tell the Promoter in 25 words or less “what makes your palate so special.”.

Each valid entry will be individually judged by representatives of the Promoter based on the creativity, relevance, experience, originality, literary merit and suitability of the entry

If the winner fails to claim the Prize Pack by the deadline, they will no longer be eligible to receive the Prize Pack. Prize Terms & Conditions

The Prize Pack (and each part of the Prize Pack) is not transferable, deferrable, exchangeable, or redeemable for any other product and cannot be taken as cash or other currency.

If the Prize Pack (or any part of the Prize Pack) is not fulfilled for any reason, then the Prize Pack (and any part of the Prize Pack) is forfeited.

The Promoter reserves the right, at any time before awarding the Prize Pack (or any part of the Prize Pack), to vary, postpone or cancel the Prize Pack (or any part of the Prize Pack), including, without limitation, where in the Promoter’s opinion (as determined by the Promoter in its sole discretion):

The winner will receive the items in the Prize Pack as follows:

the return vehicle transfer between the Event and the winner’s designated pick-up destination (within a 50km radius of the Event, or at the Promoter’s sole discretion, for a maximum of 2 people) will be booked by the Promoter with a transport company chosen solely by the Promotor on behalf of the winner with a confirmation email and booking reference number provided to the winner’s nominated email address at least 72 hours prior to the Event;

the pick-up and drop-off destination for the return vehicle transfer must be the same location and the time of booking must be on the same day as the Event between 7:00am AEST and 11:59pm AEST on Tuesday the 14th of May 2024; and

the details of the Event and a full itinerary, provided by the Promoter to the winner’s nominated email address, at least 72 hours prior to the Event.

The Promoter takes no responsibility for lost items, any delivery failure occurring after distributing the items to the winners’ email address, or any delivery failure occurring due to incorrect email address details provided by the winner.

The Promoter will not be responsible for any costs associated with the winner and their chosen companion accepting and participating in items within the Prize Pack (or any part of the Prize Pack) that are not expressly set out as the Promoter’s responsibility in these Terms and Conditions and in the Prize section.

  1. The winner and their chosen companion agree that they will not sell or otherwise provide their story and/or photographs of the Event, the Prize Pack (or any part of the Prize Pack) to any media or other organisation without the Promoter’s prior written consent.
  2. The Promoter will not be responsible for any failure or inability of the winner to redeem the Prize Pack (or any part of the Prize Pack) due to Government restrictions or regulations and will not be required to rebook the Event if it is cancelled due to such restrictions.
  3. No responsibility will be taken by the Promoter or any of its affiliates or sub-licensees for any cancellation, re-scheduling or change in the dates and/or times of the Event or the return vehicle transfer that may prevent the winner or their nominated companion from participating in items in the Prize Pack (or any part of the Prize Pack). The travel details are subject to change by the Promoter in its sole discretion.
  4. The winner and their chosen companion must sign any legal documentation required by the Promoter in its absolute discretion, in the form required by the Promoter in its absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form.

d. By creating a Profile, you agree that all information provided by you is true and correct and
that you will maintain and update this information in order to keep it current, complete and

e. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your username and
password for the Hub, and take steps to ensure that others do not gain unauthorised access
to your password and the Hub. You may not transfer or share your Hub with anyone else,
and we reserve the right to immediately terminate your access to the Hub if you do transfer
or share your Profile.
f. You agree that we may send you invitations by way of email, text, or Hub messages to
participate in surveys and polls, provide you with relevant information or updates about
Nando’s, or to join other research communities.
g. We may terminate your access to the Hub if:
i. you breach these terms of use;
ii. the online research community is no longer operating, including because IQbusiness
Insights and Nando’s terminate their survey partnership; or
iii. you become ineligible to participate in the Hub in accordance with these terms of

4. Intellectual Property
a. Unless otherwise indicated, we own or have the rights to use:
i. all copyright in this website, the Hub and their contents;
ii. all intellectual property, including patent or design rights, in the Hub; and
iii. any trade names or trade marks associated with this website and the Hub.
b. You must not in any way copy, reproduce, replicate, reverse engineer or imitate any part of

To enter the Member of the Month competition, entrants must be registered and verified members aged 18 or older. Members must fill out the form included in the monthly statement and tell us what make them a great Perker by the 13th of the month. Meal Bundle Terms and Conditions

The Classic Pack, ½ Chicken Pack, Double Classic Pack and Whole Chicken Pack (“Meal Bundles”) are only valid on the Nando’s Delivery service for orders placed via the Nando’s app or website.
